Michael Stevens Consulting - Our client, is urgently recruiting qualified candidates for immediate employment into the position of Utility Engineer.

UTILITY ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all utility equipment in the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for maintaining spares required for utility section such as planing of local spares, identify and stock the spares, which may get damage or may require changing periodically.
Raising of indents and follow up of materials for maintenance of utility equipment.
Ensures maintenance of Utility equipment for optimal utilization and zero downtime
Develop team members for jobs flexibility and improved competencies and skills
Monitor power and fuel consumption on daily basis and analyze it against standard data.
Formulate and Execute cost saving and energy saving techniques/measures and modifications.
Identify the areas and need of modernization and modifications of equipment and processes and report to Maintenance in charge
Ensure adherence to quality standards (Zenith, OHSAS and FSSC 22000) and maintain all related documents.
Ensure safety in the department as well as in the plant.
Ensure preparation and updating of maintenance department food safety operation manual.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Professional Qualification: OND/HND/B.Sc. Electrical/mechanical Engineering
A minimum of 8 years overall experience with at least 5 years in a manufacturing company.
