CLEANER

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kindly preview responsibilities and required abilities below:
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Clean and supply restrooms.
Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
Gather and empty trash.
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Request for supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Mow or trim lawns or shrubbery, using mowers or hand or power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds.
Spray insecticides or fumigants to prevent insect or rodent infestation when necessary.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to use basic cleaning equipment
Ability to work and get things done effectively with little or no supervision
Ability to speak English
Ability to deal calmly and effectively with criticism or high stress situations.
Must be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Knowledge of effective cleaning methods and equipment.
Must be neat and keep things tidy all the time.
