FINANCE MANAGER

Our client, in the Automobile industry


JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
Maintain banking relationship
Manage the preparation of company budget and report to management on budget variance.
Provide quality advice on effective cost reduction analyses in all areas
Interpret the company’s financial report to management
Oversee and handles company’s taxation issues
Preparing financial account statement
Oversee the operation of the finance department

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Outstanding knowledge in the use of accounting tools and softwares
Excellent communication skills in report presentation
Good analytical and problem solving skills
A degree in Finance or Accounting
Not less than 6 years working experience( Automobile Industry Experience will be added advantage).
ACA certified.

HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER (HSE)

Our client, in the Haulage business

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensuring safety in working place
Setting and implementing HSE policies
Investigate and record incidents and accidents and complaints.
Ensuring all equipment are properly installed correctly and safely
Monitor Health and safety performance and ensuring compliance to safety rules.
Carry out daily inspection on trucks before they are dispatched
Outline safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards.
Carry out risk assessment and determine how it can be reduced
Improve HSE working behaviour, coaching and supporting other employees at all levels to improve Health and safety culture of the company
Reporting to management

JOB SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

Excellent written, communication, relations & interpersonal skills.
An investigative mind.
Must pay attention to details.
Ability to understand and analyse information and situations
Good problem solving skills.
A certification in professional HSE.
Must have not less than 5years HSE working experience in any of these industries; Haulage/Transportation, Oil and Gas.
An HND/B.Sc degree.
Must be willing to relocate to Calabar.
