ACCOUNTING JOBS AT TAC GROUP

Company brief
Our client is an Agricultural support business incorporated to carry out the business of live animal transit, logistics, distribution and sales to various abattoirs and individual customers in Lagos state.


Key Roles and Responsibilities
 Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
 Prepare monthly and annually the financial statement of the Company.
 Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
 Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
 Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
 Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
 Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
 Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.
 Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems


Qualifications & Job Attributes:
 A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or in any other related field.
 Professional accounting qualification will be an advantage; e.g. ACA or ACCA.
 Must have good working knowledge of any accounting software and MsExcel worksheet.
 Must have the ability to write Reports & Correspondences.
 Must possess the ability to calculate figures such as, discounts, interest, & percentages.
 Ability to effectively work under tight reporting deadlines.
 An efficient Team Leader with Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
 Financial Integrity and Trust-worthiness is very essential.
