FINANCE ASSISANT
JOB SUMMARY:
The
Finance Executive provides support to the finance Manager and is
expected to keep financial records and cultivate relationships with
external regulatory bodies.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Recording and posting of daily transactions
Attend to bank related activities
Bank reconciliation statements
Maintaining fixed assets register (schedule)
Assisting in the preparation of accounts
Assisting in processing and paying invoices
Recording receipts and payments
Assisting in handling company expenses and payroll systems
Assisting in completing & submitting TAX and VAT returns
Petty Cash Management
Attending to bank related matters and any other assignment given
JOB REQUIREMENTS- SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Minimum of B.Sc./HND in a related field
Must be female and below 30 years
Must
have at least 3 years professional experience with at least 1 year in
Auditing, Control & Compliance in any financial institution
Experience in implementing policies and procedures, including process evaluation and documentation
A demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting and internal controls
Strong communication skills – both oral and written
Strong Proficiency in MS Office Applications
Knowledge of Accounting software such as Peachtree is an added advantage
