Afordonz Consulting Limited - Our client specializes in Paint Manufacturing and is seeking to recruit and fill the position of:
SALES/MARKETING EXECUTIVE
JOB ROLES
Frontline
 sales person responsible for the execution of agreed sales and 
profitability targets within the assigned sales area by acquiring new 
business and maintaining existing customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have the BURNING DESIRE to sell paint final products and make commission.
Must have good knowledge about civil works and construction relating to painting across varied platform.
Must have knowledge in both architectural and industrial coatings, decorative and protective paints.
Must be Trustworthy and understand ethics of doing business.
Ability to systematically screen customer base for new opportunities, generates leads and maintains pipeline.
Identify, plan and develop new customers in line with business development plans/targets.
Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are met.
Monitor
 sales against agreed targets on a regular basis to ensure they are met 
and where necessary the need for remedial actions are identified, 
reported and implemented.
Manage sales support activities in 
designated area, collects reports and analyzes the customer feedback / 
information on present as well as future market trends in the context of
 possible further market penetration.
Identifies targets and implements the approved sales strategies in the assigned region.
Promotes company’s positive image and develops long-term relations with the customers.
Identifies
 business opportunities, pinpoints and tries to resolve existing and/or 
potential problems and requests support from the upper management.
Delivers
 periodical progress reports and proactively submits recommendations 
regarding the improvements in the approach to the marketplace.
Proactively
 informs the upper management about the required sales support level 
(including marketing, technical, logistics and control) and cooperates 
in the coordination of the implementation of the defined activity.
Has expert knowledge on the features and benefits of available paints products/services
Ability to technically educate customers on technical requirements of available paints product lines and application.
Monitors and reports on the status of formal customer complaint and implementation procedure.
Gets
 familiar with all applicable corporate as well as site 
policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HSE standards and 
acts in compliance with all regulations.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Candidate must have 3 – 5 years’ experience in Paints sales/Marketing in a manufacturing company.
Must have a first degree from a reputable University.
HEAD OF A CHEMISTRY LABORATORY
JOB ROLES
Performs
 laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or 
composition of solid, liquid, or gaseous materials for such purposes as 
quality control, process control, or product development by performing 
the following duties:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To
 ensure optimum chemical and parameters levels are maintained. Monitor 
daily and weekly trends to proactively make necessary corrections to 
chemistry or process parameters
Must have knowledge in both architectural and industrial coatings, decorative and protective paints.
Must be organized and have a management attitude.
Runs day to day standard Operating procedures and policies of running a Laboratory and creating reports.
Supervision over quality control of Raw Materials and finished goods/ final product.
Develop further the Research and development department and must have a good
understanding of the utilization of lab equipment and tools.
Communicates
 and cooperates with paint suppliers and equipment suppliers on usage 
optimization, formulation compatibility, paint performance and quality 
issues on current programs and future developmental programs.
Utilizes problem solving tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why) to solve and eliminate problems and variation.
Responsible for complex paint mixing and ensuring accurate product inventory of the paint.
Demonstrates
 proficiency in trouble-shooting appearance and performance issues as 
well as training others in problem identification and resolution.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Candidate
 must have 8 - 10 years’ experience in managing and heading the team of 
chemists in the Laboratory of a Paint manufacturing company.
Bachelor
 of Science degree, chemistry preferred. Chemical Engineer or 
biochemistry if you have a Paint coatings or plating background.
