JOB SUMMARY
Reporting
to the Human Resources Head of Department, the HR Mobility Officer will
support the HR Department in achieving its core objectives of;
Managing administrative procedures
Representing the organization when liaising with local administrations.
Administrative and staff security management.
The Successful Candidate Will Have;
A
Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, HR, Business
Administration or related field of study from a recognized institution.
3 years’ work experience with at least 1 year in a related role.
Understanding of national labor law and employment norms and practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Approachable, diplomatic, able to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment.
Computer literacy including all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent
attention to detail, highly organized, rigorous, self-motivated, strong
sense of responsibility, ability to work independently.
Able to maintain confidentiality.
Capacity for analysis, synthesis and reporting of large amount of information.

WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH) DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY
Following
the direction of the WASH Program Manager, the Water, Sanitation and
Hygiene Deputy Program Manager (WASH DPM) will be based in Damaturu
Office. The WASH DPM will be responsible for running and supervising
sanitation and hygiene plus NFIs programs at all stages of the project
management cycle.
He/she will also be responsible for accomplishing the
program objectives and outcomes within the contextual constraints. The
DPM ensures the WASH (PHP/NFI) team completes the defined activities
while adhering to internal standards and contractual obligations.
The
WASH DPM also has responsibilities regarding capacity building of
staff; shaping and evolving a social behavioral change and communication
strategy for hygiene and sanitation promotions, humanitarian needs
identification through needs assessments, monitoring of the evolving
situation; context analysis to contribute to the development of future
programs and internal coordination.
The Successful Candidate Will Have;
A
Degree in Public Health Degree or equivalent in a field related to
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene and or training/courses specific to WASH
in development contexts (such as Bio force Institute graduates) +
minimum of 5 years of working experience.
Applied skills on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene projects management.
Interpersonal skills (team management, communication, reporting, autonomy, pedagogy, planning and organizational skills).
Commitment to Action Against Hunger mission, values and policy.
Experience in the International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) and Humanitarian context.
Experience in Personnel Management and administration.
