The African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (ngrafcfta.gov.ng) seeks to create a single market for goods and services, and the movement of persons to deepen economic integration amongst African countries. The National Action Committee on the African Continental Free Trade Area (NAC-AfCFTA) was established to coordinate MDAs and stakeholder groups to undertake a wide range of interventions which will prepare Nigeria for the AfCFTA.
The Secretariat of the NAC-AfCFTA was setup to provide technical, program management,operations and stakeholder management support to the NAC-AfCFTA.

Job Title: Admin Officer

Job Summary
Administrative Officer is responsible to provide administrative support to the secretariat. Inventory management, organizing company records, roster scheduling, budget and office reporting, invoicing and customer service.

Job Title: ICT Officer

Job Summary
Provide responsive, professional service and technical support to the secretariat staff and partners to ensure efficient operation and use of information sharing, communication, and collaboration technologies. Deploy, configure, and maintain ICT systems and databases, including networks, servers, and telecommunications. Troubleshoot and address issues to ensure optimal performance.
Configure and maintain applications and user devices. Provide timely and quality service delivery, technical support, and advice to user requests to ensure proper user access to data and information. Maintain inventory of ICT equipment, hardware, and software and ensure adequate supply and functionality, in collaboration with relevant staff. Provide input to budget for ICT related expenses.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating policy, business and user needs to achieve readiness for a major government policy implementation program. He/she will also document requirements, define scope and objectives and estimate the work and cost of the readiness intervention programmes.Skills and Competencies Requirements
  • Impressive communication, negotiating, problem-solving, and critical thinking and facilitation skills.
  • Experienced critical thinker: able to evaluate multiple options before settling on a solution.

The Project Readiness Coordinator shall be responsible for the identification, definition, planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on readiness projects in his/her portfolio. He/She shall also be responsible for ensuring that planning, controls, monitoring and evaluation, data gathering, research and other systems are consistently integrated and for coordinating interfaces and stakeholders to ensure that the program objectives are met.

  • Knowledge of major quantitative & qualitative monitoring methodologies and proven ability to design monitoring instrumentation tools
  • Extensive knowledge in (quasi-) experimental program evaluation designs
  • Broad experience in the design and implementation of capacity building activities in M & E

The person shall also be responsible for leading a team of discipline specialists, program analysts, secondees, consultants and service providers to assess requirements; plan, analyze, and design interventions; facilitate execution, monitor and evaluate the progress of the readiness projects.

The integrated planner shall Manage and coordinate the establishment and support of programs and/or projects of significance to the operation and administration of operating components of the secretariat. The Trade Economist shall be responsible for identifying, defining, planning, executing an interpreting the results of research and studies to evaluate the implications of the proposed readiness interventions on key socio-economic policies as well as their direct and multiplier effects on citizens, industry sectors and the macroeconomics.Skills and Competencies Requirements
  • Ability to design, commission and manage evaluations including rigorous impact evaluations, with appropriate technical support
