Job Title: Operator
Location: Kano

Role

• The successful candidate will operate an assigned production line, the successful candidate will work within a Team of Operators.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will operate the assigned production lines
• He/She will ensure smooth and hitch-free operation in the line of production
• He/She will promptly report inferior input coming into the production line
• He/She will promptly report machine breakdown
• He/She will ensure that output is of required standard
• He/She will ensure output at the production line meets the minimum standard
• Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Supervisor

Qualification & Experience

• Technical, Vocational, SSCE or it’s equivalent
• The candidate should be articulate, smart with the ability to pay attention to details
• The candidate should be able to multi-task and work under pressure.

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Kano

Role

• The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial matters including keeping all the records of financial transaction.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining books of Account
• He/She will handle all Company payments and perform reconciliation
• He/She will liaise and manage the CompanyТs relationship with its Bankers
• He/She will ensure Internal Control system is in being adhered to
• He/She will liaise with the CompanyТs external Auditors during the annual audit exercise
• He/She will liaise with the Human Resources Management unit for payments and remittances
• He/She will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies
• Perform other functions as assigned by Management.

Qualification & Experience

• The candidate should possess a suitable Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Economics / Business Administration or related field
• The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in an Accounting role in an organized private sector
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate Accounting Standard knowledge eg IFRS
• The candidate should possess leadership and management skills, result-oriented
• Candidates with Professional qualifications like ICAN, ACCA will have an advantage
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.

Job Title: Head, Admin
Location: Kano

Role

• The successful candidate will oversee the entire Admin functions of the Company in line with Company policy.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both human and material resources (including physical assets) of the Company.
• He/She will ensure optimal utilization of assets and other resources
• He/She will ensure assets usage is in line with Company policy
• He/She will supervise the Warehouse Manager, Head of Security
• He/She will ensure completeness and accuracy of assets records
• He/She will perform the role of Human Resource Management
• He/She will process assets requisition, market survey prior to acquisition of any asset
• He/She will be responsible for maintaining and servicing assets
• He/She will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• He/She will liaise with other unit heads before goods are released
• Perform other functions as assigned by Management

Qualification & Experience

• The candidate should possess a suitable Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Accounting / Economics or related field.
• The candidate should have at least 5 years experience working in a reputable firm
• The candidate must demonstrate in-depth understanding of general resource administration in an organized firm.

Human Resource Management Skills / Experience:

• The candidate should possess Leadership and Management skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.

Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Kano

Role

• The successful candidate will supervise a particular production function ie Parboiling, Milling, Boiler.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the operators in their individual units
• He / She will ensure hitch-free operation in the line of production
• He / She will ensure smooth and hitch-free operation in the line of production
• He / She will liaise with other production Supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of the entire production processing
• He / She will ensure and immediately report inferior input coming into the production line
• He / She will ensure output at the production line meets the minimum standard
• Perform other functions as may be assigned by Management

Qualification & Experience

• The candidate should possess at least AТ Level Certificate with production technical skills
• The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working in the production line of an Agro-Allied Processing Company
• The candidate should be able to multi-task and work under pressure
• The candidate should possess Leadership and Managerial skills.

Job Title: Head, Technical & Engineering
Location: Kano

Role

• The successful candidate will oversee the entire production line ie plants and machineries.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the plants / machineries in the production lines
• He / She will ensure plant lubricants and other ancillary assets are available as at when needed
• He / She will ensure the smooth operation of the operating production plants and machineries
• He / She will supervise the engineering team members and minimum plant break-down
• Perform other functions as may be assigned by Management

Qualification & Experience

• The candidate should possess a suitable Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or in a relevant course.
• The candidate should have at least 5 years experience working in the mechanical engineering field of a reputable firm
• The candidate should have hands-on experience in machine assembly, repair, and maintenance
• The candidate should be able to multi-task and work under pressure
• The candidate should possess Leadership and Managerial skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.

Job Title: Head, Production
Location: Kano

Job Role

• The successful candidate will oversee the entire production unit of the Company which will directly supervise the Boiling, Milling & Parboiling sections.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing/supervising the entire Company daily production
• He/She will ensure finished goods meet minimum standard specification/high quality
• He/She will ensure minimal production wastage
• He/She will supervise the heads of Boiling, Parboiling & Milling units and ensure they all meet set targets
• He/She will ensure optimal utilization of all production resources especially inventory and others
• He/She will ensure availability of raw materials based on the optimum stock level
• Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification & Experience

• The candidate should possess a suitable Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma Sciences or related course.
• The candidate should have at least 5 years experience working in the production line of a Manufacturing company preferably in a Rice Mill.
• The candidate should possess Leadership and Management skills
• The candidate should be able to multi-task and work under pressure
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate good understanding of Rice Milling Process
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office

Job Title: General Manager, Operations
Location: Kano

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day to day operations of the entire company
• The successful candidate will ensure optimal operation of the production line
• He / She will ensure minimal wastage, periodically review operations and ensure implementation of recommendations towards improvements
• He / She will ensure adherence to Company policy
• He / She will ensure sales target are achieved with minimal cost
• He / She will implement the CompanyТs marketing strategy and ensure products are known and accepted in various markets
• He / She will ensure that the production line(s) and machines are periodically maintained in line with best practice and for optimization
• He / She will ensure accuracy of records especially on inventory at any point in time
• He / She will perform other managerial functions as may be directed by the Managing Director or the Board of Directors

Qualification & Experience

• The candidate should possess a suitable Master’s / Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Accounting / Economics or related field.
• The candidate should have at least 8 years experience working in an organized private sector environment preferably in a Manufacturing or Agro Allied Industry.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
• The candidate should possess leadership and management skills, mentoring skills and result oriented.

Job Title: Head, Marketing
Location: Kano

Role

• The successful candidate will lead the Marketing team of the Company, ensure market penetration and win a large market share for the Company’s product.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will ensure the company’s products are patronized in the market
• He/She will develop and implement the Company’s marketing strategy
• He/She will arrange advertorials and ensure it reaches the target audience
• He/She will seek for business development partnerships, liaise, relevant stakeholders, participate in business conferences/seminars/workshops/trade fairs that will promote the Company’s products
• He/She will lead and supervise the members of the Marketing Team
• He/She will ensure the Marketing Team achieves its set target
• Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification & Experience

• The candidate should possess a suitable Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or related course.
• The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in an organized private sector.
• The candidate should possess Presentation, Marketing, and Management skills
• The candidate should be eloquent, smart, result-oriented, able to multi-task and work under pressure
• The candidate should be flexible enough to adopt to prospective customer norms/culture in the course of discharging his/her official duties
